I have to admit, I get kind of excited when conversations start with, "Hey, my friend...".
Especially when spoken with a Spanish accent.
It’s like, you really don’t know how the conversation is going to go at this point, but you know it’s going to be interesting…
I mean, maybe you’re going to get tossed out of an establishment through the front windows on account of "lookin' funny"...
Or maybe - such as in this case - you’re going to be offered to sample some bean soup while you’re waiting for a burrito.
Life is exciting, my friends!
And the bean soup is fabulous.
