"That's too bad."

Walk up to cafe counter. Place order. Woman swipes my card...

"Is that your real name?"
Yup.
"That's too bad."
Why?
"When I think of zero, I think of little," she places her thumb and finger together as a "little" gesture, "God, I would HATE that name."

Then I burst into tears.

Ok, just kidding -- it was just a single tear -- and I had to really work at it -- and I held up the entire line for like 3 minutes as I let it slowly travel down my cheek. ;)

But seriously -- I've gotta give her credit for speaking her mind. But I'm putting her in the penalty box for lack of tact. That was brutal.
