He's filthy and foul-mouthed and his material (or movies - Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy...) isn't for everyone, but it isn't intended to be. And I've got to respect that.
Kevin Smith turns out to be a real dude, he writes real good, and his book, Tough Shit, is unexpectedly inspiring -- and moving, too -- with some interesting Hollywood insight.
